We are recruiting on behalf of 2 clients who are in need of the following people:

Job spec 1:
My client is looking for a qualified butcher/blockman/blokman within a retail environment.

The ideal candidate:
Will have 5-10 years experience
Will be experienced in front-to-end carcass processing into primal cuts and retail cuts.
Will have been responsible for stock management and control experience
Can do competitive product costing (block/yield test is a requirement)
Is creative (new product development) within a butchery environment

The ideal candidate will:
Be qualified as a butcher (Meat Training Centre can assist where certification is not in place)
Have own reliable transport
Be punctual and reliable

Salary:
Dependant on experience and certification

Area:
Edenvale, Johannesburg

Work schedule:
Monday - Saturday (off on Sundays).

Job spec 2:
My client is looking for a qualified meat processor within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate:
Will have general management skills in the manufacturing and management of a variety of processed meat products (polonies, russians, viennas, sausages, etc.)

The ideal candidate will:
Be qualified as a meat processor (Meat Training Centre can assist where certification is not in place)
Have own reliable transport as an advantage
Be punctual and reliable

Salary:
Dependant on experience and certification with a possibility to earn commission on sales

Area:
Northern KZN

Work schedule:
To be confirmed
