With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of Jeffrey Wolf, a stalwart of Jewish education whose name will forever be synonymous with King David Victory Park.

Jeffrey was a giant of a man, whose contribution to King David and Jewish education extended far beyond the walls of the school. Through his unwavering commitment, passion and dedication, he shaped a place that educated and nurtured generations of young Davidians.

For the King David community, Jeffrey was not simply a headmaster, he was part of the schools’ heart and soul. His legacy lives on in the countless students he educated, the values he championed and the generations of Davidians who passed through the doors of King David Victory Park.

King David Schools extends our deepest condolences to his beloved wife Barbara, devoted children Stuart, Graham and Melissa, adored grandchildren, friends, colleagues and all those who knew and loved him.

May his memory be a blessing.

KDS ushered in the month of Elul with our annual morning of Teshuva, Tefillah and Tzedakah.

We were privileged to be joined by The Chupah Band who lifted our spirits and warmed us up through powerful songs and tefillot.

Hatzollah and Yad Aharon allowed our parents the ability to do the mitzvah of Tzedakkah and we launched our 40 Days Teshuva challenge.

Rosh Chodesh Elul started off in the most beautiful way possible with our Grade R Kabbalat Shabbat morning at Sandton Shul.

Our children delighted and inspired with their knowledge and love of Yiddishkeit.

This Women's Day, we celebrate the remarkable women of today while remembering those who came before them.

The women who preserved our traditions around their tables. Who carried hope through exile. Who built communities, strengthened families, pursued knowledge, led with conviction, and chose courage even in the most uncertain times.

Their stories became our foundation.

May we continue to honour them by living lives of kindness, purpose and strength, ensuring that the legacy we leave is one worthy of the generations still to come.
