Little Ashford Sandton Little Ashford Sandton - We exist to nurture our children's potential. Parents receive a detailed report in the 1st term and the 3rd term.

All our programmes are designed to stimulate learning through the five senses; smell, touch, hear, taste and seeing. Cognitive stimulation of the mind is also important, and this is achieved through imagination, creative thinking, social interaction and most of all learning through play and fun. We are Montessori based, we implement traditional teaching, and we include iPad work into the daily rou

tines. All the activities presented to the children focus on all the major learning areas, allow the children to reach their necessary milestones and allow the children to learn about their world. All teachers plan activities around a new theme every week to make sure the learning is as fun as it can be. Play is also important and we therefore provide a maximum of 45 minutes per class of outside free time. We believe in continuous assessments to allow the child ample time to master skills as well as to provide accurate readings. Parent-meetings take place in the 2nd term to allow for important communication about your child’s progress.
