π¦ Our Unit of Inquiry has begun with an exciting adventure into South Africa and its incredible wildlife! π¦π¦π
Our learners kicked off the unit with a fun "shock" experience, exploring the Big Five and discovering the amazing animals that call the South African bush home.
Through hands-on activities, they painted leaves, created zebra, giraffe, and leopard patterns using paper shapes, drew their favourite wild animals, and brought their creations to life with Play-Doh. π¨πΏ
Learning through creativity, play, and exploration is helping our young learners develop a deeper appreciation for the beautiful country we call home and the remarkable wildlife that makes it so unique. πβ¨

π The Bee Class became busy little birds this week! πͺΉπ
Our little explorers ventured outdoors to collect sticks, leaves, and other natural treasures to build their very own bird nests. Along the way, they discovered where birds live, what they need to survive, and how they carefully create safe homes for their families.
Back in the classroom, the children used feathers, wool, and cotton to make their nests warm and cosy. One of our thoughtful Bees proudly shared, "I'm using cotton to make it comfy for the birds to lay eggs!" π₯Ήπ
It was a joy to watch their creativity, teamwork, and compassion for nature come to life as they imagined the world through the eyes of a bird. π¦πΏ
