Our Moonlight children have been working so hard on their sewing skills lately! 🧵✨

They are busy creating the most beautiful little caterpillars, and some of the children have already started making their butterflies too! 🐛🦋

Fine motor activities like sewing are so beneficial for young children as they help to strengthen hand muscles, improve hand-eye coordination, encourage focus and perseverance, and develop the important skills needed for writing and everyday tasks. 💛

We are so proud of their patience, concentration, and creativity as they learn new skills through hands-on fun.🙂

🐐🐷🐄 A Visit from the Farmyard! 🐴🐔🦆🐰

What a special day at our school! Every year around Easter time, we have a visit from The Farm Corner - and wow, this year the excitement on our children’s faces said it all 😊

They absolutely loved meeting all the animals — a friendly goat, a gentle cow, two adorable little pigs, a donkey, a pony, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and guinea pigs!!

The children loved learning about the animals from the farmer and they had so much fun feeding and petting the animals. Hands on learning at it's best! The absolute highlight of the day was definitely the pony rides! 🐴✨

A big thank you to for providing us with this wonderful experience - clean, extremely well looked after animals and an all round safe and highly valuable experience for everyone!

The children had so much fun last week making their Easter baskets, and the excitement was overflowing when they discovered that the Easter Hare had visited and left some eggs hidden in the garden! 🐰🍫

Our Moonlight class has had such a wonderful two weeks of learning through play! 🌟

The children absolutely loved our construction activities, building with wooden blocks and using the hammer sets. It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills as they designed and built their own little structures.

We also enjoyed a cutting and pasting activity, which helped the children practice their fine motor skills ✂️🎨

Another exciting activity was sewing. Some of the children are busy making felt caterpillars, while others have started working on butterflies. It’s amazing to watch their concentration and pride as they learn these new skills. 🐛🦋

Love was in the air at our school last Friday as we celebrated Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Our children came to school all dressed in white, red and pink!. They had so much fun baking delicious biscuits during the week and decorating them with icing and sprinkles.

Each child got to take their sweet treats home in the adorable heart bags they made themselves to take home and share with their families.

It really was a LOVE-ly day! 💕

What a wonderful start to the year we’ve had! 💛

This week marks our first full week back after the December holidays, and it’s been such a joy welcoming our children back to school.

There’s been laughter in the gardens, busy little hands at play, and lots of happy reunions with friends and teachers. The children have settled in wonderfully and are already making the most of their time outdoors.

We’re so excited for all the fun, discovery, learning, and growth that this year will bring 🌱✨

After closing for the year, we were delighted to host a week of holiday care filled with fun and laughter. The children enjoyed playing with playdough, baking delicious ginger biscuits, and spending plenty of happy moments both indoors and outdoors.

As we wrap up 2025, we would like to thank all our families for their support and trust throughout the year. We wish all our parents and little ones a blessed festive season filled with rest, joy, and special memories.

What a beautiful end to our school year!
This term was filled with Christmas magic, creativity, and so many special moments.

Over the past few weeks, the children have been hard at work making Christmas decorations with salt dough. Our Rainbow Class also made the sweetest keepsakes using their handprints.

We ended our year with our cherished Advent Spiral, where each child slowly walked the path and lit their little candle — a moment of calm, wonder, and light to guide us into the festive season.

Term 3 was filled with learning, laughter, and creativity!
We celebrated Spring Day in bright and joyful style 🌼, loved every moment of our Farm Yard visit 🐮🐰, and expressed our creativity with beautiful spring-themed crafts 🎨.

Our children also enjoyed plenty of puzzle time, outdoor play, and moments of friendship and discovery. We ended the term by celebrating Heritage Day — a reminder of the beautiful diversity that makes our community so special 🇿🇦❤️.

Now we’re stepping into Term 4 — the final stretch of the year! 🌟
Let’s make it a term filled with joy, growth, and wonderful memories. 🌈
