Redhill High School Interact

Hi everyone, Redhill Interact is having a drive until the 26th of February. We are asking all Redhillians to donate any of the following items on the list for students in need. All contributions will be donated to Soweto Home based caregivers and over 300 students will have all the supplies that are needed for the school year.

Hello everyone.
We as the interact committee are so excited for our next project!!

So our local recyclers work so hard every morning and Redhill really wants to show our appreciation to them and what they do.

So we will be collecting sandwiches every Tuesday morning before school starts for them, please make sure that each sandwich is individually wrapped with your name and class attached to it.

One hour of community service will be awarded for every two loaves of bread used to make these sandwiches and the requirements for what should be in them are in the above poster. Please will you pass this on to your friends so that we can collect loadsss of sandwiches xx

The Interact Committee partnered with MealSA to distribute food hampers, mealie meal and blankets to 150 families of InnesFree Park. Thank you to Mr Gerassi and the Redhill students who came to help out, and a huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us reach and exceed our goal! It was an extremely rewarding experience and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to make such an incredible difference in the lives of those in need.

Hi everyone! In honour of Mandela Day, the Interact Committee are striving to raise money for 67 bags of mealie meal for just R60 with an organisation called MealSA. By just donating R60, you can help feed a family! If you’d like to donate more than R60 that would be amazing! It’s an easy way to make a difference this Mandela Day. We’ll be accepting donations ‪until the 31st of July‬. If you’re interested in helping out, you can drop your R60 off into the donations box in Miss Fiandeiro’s class or you can make an EFT into the MealSA account with the details below:

We are excited to announce the launch of our Sanitary Pad Collection Drive at Bryanston, Benmore & Woodmead. We have large demarcated Red bins for donation!

Interact and the IB service spent most rewarding afternoon at Forest Farm today. We spent the afternoon with the residents playing games, chatting & getting to know these wonderful people.

We will be going back on a regular basis to build long term sustainable relationships. Thank you to Forest Farm for having us!
