On Saturday, the U13 team participated in the St Andrews Netball Festival, where the standard of competition was exceptionally high. The girls rose to the occasion, performing admirably and exceeding expectations throughout the day.
We achieved a mixed set of results, securing two wins, one draw, and three losses. Despite this, the experience proved to be incredibly valuable, contributing significantly to the team’s growth and development.
The players represented Wendywood with great respect and dignity, and we are immensely proud of their efforts. We look forward to returning to this festival next year with even greater determination.

It's Friday, but we are still celebrating our fantastic rugby boys who played on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of May.
Although we lost the finals by a golden try, Wendywood Primary School proudly finished 2nd out of 16 schools — an incredible achievement! We are so proud of our boys for their determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
A special thank you to Mr January, Mr Vogt, Mr Spilhaus and Mr Adolph for your dedication and support.
Heads held high, boys… you made us proud!
