The last day of 2nd term was a joyful day indeed! The kiddies at Little Shack (with the help of donations by their parents) packed jars/bags of hope 🫙 Although it was organised chaos the kiddies had a BLAST pouring, spooning, scooping, measuring and even a little tasting 👅 (hmmm beef stock cubes are delish 😋 😂). This yearly tradition at Little Shack is something that is so close to my heart ♥️ Educating and teaching our children to care for those in need in our community is so very important! We packet over 40 jars/bags. A fantastic group effort 👏 Well done Little Shack 💪🏼

Why I love the Montessori method for the early years! I introduced numbers to little Q last year and he showed absolutely no interest. Fast forward a few months and numbers is all he wants to do during the work cycle! He is now able to recognise and name numbers 1-10 and can match the quantity to the correct symbol 👏 completely child lead 🥰
