Grades 00 and 000 had a lovely time exploring the theme, Nursery Rhymes. Grade 000 loved hopping around as little frogs while practising their number skills. They also enjoyed created Baa Baa Black Sheep and Jack and Jill crafts. Grade 00 built Humpty Dumpty’s wall from boxes and made their own clay Humpty Dumptys. The Grade Sevens spent a very enjoyable hour at Rosehaven Retirement Village today. They gave the residents goodie bags filled with gifts from the younger grades. Both the children and residents swapped stories about life and a few demonstrated their musical talents!

Grades 00 and 000 had a wonderfully wacky Upside-Down, Inside-Out, Back-to-Front Day! The children arrived at school with their jerseys and clothes inside out or back to front, and even wore their shoes on the wrong feet. They enjoyed doing activities underneath the classroom tables, drawing on paper attached to the undersides of the tables. Their day was turned completely around, with morning activities taking place at the end of the day. Staff members joined in the fun by reading stories upside down and from the ending to the beginning. What a fun day!
