Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please take note of the following arrangements regarding learners’ clothing:

🌼 TOMORROW – TUESDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026
Learners may come to school wearing home clothes/civvies as we welcome the beginning of Spring. 🌸🌺

We encourage learners to embrace the Spring season by wearing floral or Spring-themed clothing. 🌻🌷
Learners may also wear sunglasses/shades as part of the Spring Day celebration. 😎

☀️ FROM WEDNESDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER 2026
Wednesday will be a normal school day and Sports Day, therefore learners must return to school in their summer school uniform.

Please take note of the following:

👧 GIRLS:
• Girls must wear their school skirts – NO trousers.
• No jerseys or winter clothing.

👦 BOYS:
• Boys must wear the prescribed summer school uniform.

🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽 SPORTS ATTIRE:
Learners participating in Sports Day may wear the appropriate school sports attire.

🚫 NO WINTER CLOTHING FROM WEDNESDAY:
• No jerseys
• No jackets
• No Trimex/tracksuits
• No beanies
• No other clothing associated with winter

We kindly ask all parents/guardians to ensure that learners follow these guidelines from Wednesday onwards.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we approach month-end, we would like to kindly remind you about the upcoming Gold Reef City Trip taking place on 23 September 2026, which will also be the closing day of Term 3.

🎢 Trip: Gold Reef City
📅 Date: 23 September 2026
👥 Learners: Grade 8 – Grade 11 ONLY
💰 Cost: R650 per learner

The R650 covers the Gold Reef City entrance fee (including access to the rides) as well as transport to Johannesburg and back.

Parents/Guardians are kindly encouraged to make payment by the due date to secure their child’s place. Grade 12 learners are NOT eligible to attend this trip.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please be informed that tomorrow, Friday, 28 August 2026, learners from Grade 8 to Grade 11 are NOT expected to come to school due to the SADTU Mass Meeting taking place at JM Ntsime.

The majority of our teachers are SADTU members and will be attending the meeting. As a result, there will not be enough teachers available to conduct normal teaching and learning.

Please take note of the following exceptions:

🔹 Grade 11A, Grade 11B and Grade 11F learners MUST come to school.
🔹 ALL Grade 12 learners MUST come to school.

Grade 12 learners will have a Prayer Day as they prepare for their Preparatory Examinations, which commence on Monday. They will also:

Receive their examination timetables;

Be briefed on the examination rules and regulations; and

Receive important information regarding the upcoming examinations.

We kindly ask parents/guardians to ensure that the affected Grade 8–11 learners remain at home tomorrow and that the learners who are required to attend school do so.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support. 🙏🏽

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we approach month-end and many parents will be receiving their salaries, we kindly remind you to make payment towards the Gold Reef City trip, which will take place on 23 September 2026.

💰 Trip fee: R650 per learner

The fee includes:
• R300 – Entrance fee and access to all rides
• R350 – Transport from Sandfontein to Johannesburg and back

📌 Please take note: The trip is ONLY open to learners in Grades 8–11.
❌ Grade 12 learners are NOT allowed to pay for or participate in this trip.

We kindly encourage parents/guardians who have not yet paid to take advantage of month-end and make the payment as soon as possible to secure their child's place.

💯📚Today we had a privilege to host Mam Agnes Rasesemola (Acting Bojanala District Director) during our Parents meeting for Grade 8-12. 📚💯📚📚💯📚

Mam Rasesemola Highlighted the importance of parental support for learners academic performance, identifying learning barriers and assisting them at an early age.
She pleaded with the parents to ensure that learners arrive at school on time as a way of ensuring time for teaching and learning is protected. Furthermore, she Asked parents to monitor their children's books and assignment submissions. In conclusion, applauded the G12 educators and learners of the school to have been in the top 10 achievers of the circuit.
