On 24–25 July, the Selly Park Primary 1st Team Hockey Girls participated in the Lerato Mahole Girls' Hockey Tournament, hosted by Curro in Klerksdorp.

The girls displayed exceptional teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, winning six matches and drawing three. They represented Selly Park Primary with pride and distinction, and their outstanding performance is to be highly commended.

A special mention goes to Tlotlotsame Makatiers, who scored an impressive 12 goals over the course of the tournament. Her remarkable achievement played a significant role in the team's success and is thoroughly deserving of recognition.

Grade 4 Technology – Structures and Strength 🏗️

Our Grade 4 students put their engineering skills to the test as they explored how to make structures stronger and more stable. By rolling paper to increase its strength and adding support beams for stability, they designed and built impressive water towers that showcased their creativity and problem-solving.
