As teachers and supporting staff members, we saw it fit to celebrate Heritage Day together, not only to mark the important day, but to recognise and embrace the beautiful diversity of cultures within our school community. ♥️

Our school is home to different cultures, languages, traditions and backgrounds, and we believe that this diversity is something to be proud of and celebrated. Yesterday, we came together as one family to share our traditions, appreciate one another, and strengthen the spirit of unity among us.
As we close the school on a happy, warm and welcoming note, may we continue to respect, value and learn from one another’s heritage.
Different cultures. One school. One family. A stronger us. 🇿🇦🎉

Happy Heritage Day from all the teachers and supporting staff of Boikagong Secondary School! ❤️ to our loving and supporting community 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

This morning, Boikagong Secondary School had the privilege of welcoming the Boitekong Councillor and his team as part of their commitment to supporting education and the development of our learners.♥️🔥

During the visit, the Councillor shared an important message on the role of education in transforming communities and the importance of supporting, motivating and empowering learners to reach their full potential.🙏🏾

As part of this initiative, the Councillor and his team generously donated school shoes to learners in need, helping to ensure that financial circumstances do not become a barrier to their education. 👞❤️

We sincerely appreciate the Councillor and his team for their generosity, time and continued support towards our learners. Such acts of kindness remind us of the importance of community involvement in education.✨🙏🏾🙌🏽

🌱 Empowering Our Learners Through Knowledge & Care

This morning, Boikagong Secondary School was privileged to welcome two important partners who continue to support the development and well-being of our learners.

🌟 BBeyond The Change Foundationvisited our school to engage with and mentor our learners, encouraging them to make positive choices, build confidence and work towards a brighter future.

🩺 We were also honoured to welcome the Boitekong Health Centre/Clinic nurses, who provided our learners with valuable education on healthy living, personal well-being, safe and responsible choices, sexual health, and the importance of taking care of themselves.

We sincerely appreciate both teams for taking the time to invest in our learners. These engagements remind us that education is not only about what happens inside the classroom, but also about equipping young people with the knowledge and guidance they need to navigate life responsibly.

Together, we continue to nurture informed, responsible and empowered young people.

This morning, Boikagong Secondary School had the privilege of welcoming two organisations committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our learners.

🌱 Youth for Change Network visited our school to engage with and mentor our learners, encouraging them to make positive choices, develop their potential and become responsible young people.

🛡️ We were also visited by NPO Safe a Child Corridor, who will be working alongside our school for an extended period to support the safety and well-being of our learners — both inside and beyond the school premises. Their presence in surrounding areas and at key corners will help ensure that our learners are safer as they travel to and from school.
At Boikagong Secondary School, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom. It takes a united community, caring organisations, parents, educators and stakeholders to create an environment where every learner can learn, grow and feel safe.

We sincerely appreciate both organisations for choosing to stand with us and invest in the future of our learners. Together, we can make a difference. 💚❤️💛

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we welcome the warmer spring weather, Boikagong Secondary School kindly reminds all parents and guardians that, as of Monday, 31st August 2026, learners are expected to wear their full summer school uniform.

Winter clothing should no longer be worn, including winter jerseys/jackets and winter hats/beanies.

⏰We also remind parents and guardians to ensure that learners arrive at school on time, preferably by 07:15. Supervision at the main gates ends at 07:30, and learners should not arrive after this time.

Your continued support in ensuring proper school uniform, punctuality and discipline is highly appreciated. Let us work together to promote a culture of discipline, responsibility and excellence at Boikagong Secondary School.
