BOILERMAKING SEMI SKILLED TRAINING COURSE AT SA MINING INSTITUTE IN RUSTENBURG 0794502866/ 0789683189
Boilermakers install and maintain boiler systems. Boilermakers assemble, install, maintain, and repair boilers, closed vats, and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases
This is a physically demanding trade. Boiler and vat components are quite heavy – and boilermakers need to be able to move them into place when assembling the equipment and hold them for long periods of time when necessary. Understanding of safety rules and procedures
They use knowledge of industrial hoists to lift and manoeuvre heavy metal parts into place when assembling boilers and tanks. Being able to use welding machines is another key mechanical skill for boilermakers as they frequently weld metal sheets together to fabricate industrial boilers.
NB: you can do this training course without maths and physics subjects, your understanding, reading measurements and hand safety tools and creativity is all that matters.

BULLDOZER TRAINING SERVICE AT SA MINING AND OPERATOR TRAINING INSTITUTE IN SOUTH AFRICA 0794502866/ 0789683189
A bulldozer, sometimes called an excavator or a dozer, is a machine used to push and dig soil, especially in the field of construction and mining. It has a steel blade or pusher blade attached to the front of the truck, and it is used to mobilize and move land, materials, or construction waste with that blade.
Bulldozers are used for shallow digging and ditching; short-range transportation of material; spreading soil dumped from trucks; rough grading; removing trees, stumps, and boulders; and cleaning and levelling around loading equipment.
The dozer is mounted on tracks and uses its broad blade for land clearing, grading, excavating, placing and transporting materials. Dozers are used in construction projects, mines, agriculture and forestry. Its tracks and low center of gravity provides traction and stability on slopes and unstable surfaces
How to Operate a Bulldozer
•Turn On the Engine. ...
•Turn the Speed Control Down. ...
•Turn the Throttle to “Run.” The throttle controls the engine's power, so the speed needs to be low to increase it to “full.”
•Use the Left Joystick to Drive. ...
•Test Individual Controls. ...
•Stop Movement by Depressing Accelerator

Rigid dump trucks known as 777 dump truck have the cab and dump body all on one frame. They typically have higher hauling capacities and work great on large-scale projects like quarrying and mining with lots of open space.
A rigid lorry is most commonly known for its flexibility, allowing it to weave in and out of city streets easily. This is what makes rigid trucks perfect for build-up areas and ideal for delivering pallets to businesses that have limited access. It's also, why they are the go-to choice for short-haul trips.
Dump trucks are indispensable in various sectors, efficiently transporting items like construction waste, gravel, and soil. Their high payload capacity ensures they meet the demands of construction equipment movement, residential projects, and seasonal tasks such as snow removal
Those operating dump trucks or working nearby are at risk of multiple hazards including struck-by, tip-over from loss of vehicle control, crushing, electrical, and falls.

OVERHEAD CRANE TRAINING COURSE AT SA MINING INSTITUTE IN RUSTENBURG 0789683189/ 0794502866
An overhead crane, commonly called a bridge crane, is a type of crane found in industrial environments. An overhead crane consists of two parallel rails seated on longitudinal I-beams attached to opposite steel columns by means of brackets. The traveling bridge spans the gap.
All employees must wear safety gear, including hard hats, safety boots, eye protection glasses, work gloves, and high visibility apparel. Use barriers and signs around the crane to prevent anyone from walking under load. Do not stand directly under suspended loads. Secure all loads and equipment.
Overhead cranes have three main motions: They need to lift vertically. Move within the set range along rails. Move horizontally.
An overhead crane pendant provides detailed control over the individual speed and motion of the equipment. The operator of the crane can utilize the pushbuttons on the pendant to control each specific function of the crane from bridge travel, trolley direction, lift speed, etc.
Preliminary Equipment Check
1. Inspect the hoist, trolley, bridge, runway, and electric systems for loose, broken, or damaged parts.
2. Wire ropes should be reeved and seated correctly in drum grooves.
3. Check that the bottom block is not twisted (no two lengths of wire rope should touch).
