🌊✨ DURBAN EXCURSION 2026 | PART 1✨🌊

What an incredible journey of learning, discovery and adventure! Our learners had an unforgettable time exploring some of Durban and KwaZulu-Natal’s most exciting destinations. 🚌🌴

🦈 KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board— an eye-opening educational experience where our learners gained fascinating insights into marine life and shark conservation.

🛍️ Mall of Africa(GP), Gateway & Pavilion Mall— a wonderful opportunity to explore, shop and enjoy time together outside the classroom.

⛵ Wilson’s Wharf Boat Cruise— breathtaking views, beautiful memories and plenty of smiles as we enjoyed Durban from the water! 🌊

🐠 uShaka Marine World— an exciting combination of education, entertainment and marine discovery that left our learners amazed! 🐬

This excursion reminded us that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Every destination brought new experiences, new knowledge and memories that our learners will treasure for years to come. ❤️

SANBS Appreciation Event

SANBS Rustenburg hosted an appreciation event for all partner donor sites on the 18th of September 2026 at Hedgehog’s Nest.

Our school was proudly represented by the site controllers Ms Mthethwa and Ms Sikhomba, who attended on behalf of the school.

SANBS extended heartfelt gratitude to our principal for making the school available as a donor site, and to all our learners, staff and parents who continue to donate blood to help save lives. ❤️🩸

Our Grade 10 and Grade 11 learners recently took part in an impactful Leadership Development & Leadership Identification Camp at Camp Discovery. 🏕️✨

The Grade 10 learners focused on building essential leadership skills, confidence, teamwork, communication, and self-awareness, while our Grade 11 learners were given opportunities to demonstrate and develop their leadership potential. 💪🏽🤝

Through challenging activities, team-building experiences, reflection, and meaningful interactions, our learners were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, discover their strengths, and lead with purpose.

We are proud of the enthusiasm, resilience, and leadership potential displayed throughout the camp. 🌱👏
