Never ever under estimate the power of prayer and the cross✝️
I have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with women who are working and some sleeping on the streets. My pastor organized that her grandmother, who is living in a retirement village, crochet 30 crosses and I asked that the ladies pray over them while making them. When I hand the crosses out, I explain that a granny made it specially for her and that the cross represents the love of God for her and prayers from a godly woman. They must also always remember that they are never alone and that they must carry the cross in their bra or somewhere on them, so that they can hold it when they need to feel loved or if they are scared.
Two weeks ago I gave a cross to a young mid twenties lady sleeping on the street and last night when I did soup distribution I heard that she has reconciled with her family and returned home to live with her parents.
The person who told me this was so excited, as he made a comment, that she kept holding onto the cross and that he now knows that the cross of Jesus has so much power if it helped her off the streets. ❤️
