The programme combines theory, practical learning and hands-on workplace experience, giving you the opportunity to build 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the hospitality and catering industry.

The Royal Bafokeng Institute (RBI) is recruiting interested candidates to embrace their flair for cooking through its three – year programme: 𝗤𝗖𝗧𝗢 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳.

This is a fully funded and paid programme open to unemployed youth who want to become internationally recognised in the hospitality and catering industry.

It brings together theoretical, practical and workplace elements of food preparation and service. A Chef plans, organises and executes the preparation, cooking and finishing (presentation, holding and storing) of food in Hotels, Restaurants and Catering (HORECA) establishments. It is your ticket to conquering the hospitality industry.

𝗧𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁:

• Be aged between 18 and 35 years old
• Be unemployed
• Not be participating in any other
• programme funded by government
• or any other public institution

💻 Build the digital skills needed for today’s workplace!

Royal Bafokeng Institute, in partnership with Deviare and Liquid Intelligent Technologies, is recruiting 30 unemployed young people from the Royal Bafokeng Nation to participate in a three-to-four-month Digital Skills Programme.
Participants will receive practical training in:

✅ Microsoft Office applications
✅ Cybersecurity fundamentals
✅ Cyber threat management
✅ Digital transformation concepts

The programme will be hosted at Royal Bafokeng Institute in Phokeng, with training taking place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Applicants must be South African citizens, at least 18 years old, hold a Matric certificate and reside within the Royal Bafokeng Nation. Please review the full requirements and mandatory documents on the poster before applying.
