Networking is a nice thing to do as schools. I managed to organize the SBST coordinator of Sunriseview primary to come and share the good practices with us. We really learned a lot from each other. This will not be the last engagement as this is for the benefit of the learners. It's not easy I know but if we can work as a collective as schools,we will minimize the issue of learners who cannnot read and write, but at the same time having the support of the DBST at all times. Thanks to the Principal of Sunriseview primary for allowing mam Kgomo to come share with us.

DEAR is practiced every week at Boshoek. We are trying to exhaust all avenues to include all our learners in reading. Forward we go.

SMASHBURGER 👊 PATTY 👊 MELTS Ingredients: -King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread -1/2 cup onions (sliced) -Ground beef -Swiss cheese -Mayonnaise Preparation: 1. Sauté sliced onions until caramelized 2. Form 3oz burger patties and smash onto grill (season and flip patties after a minute or two) 3. Toast King’s Hawaiian sliced bread 4. Add Swiss cheese to the top of burger patties until melted 5. Assemble patty melt with mayonnaise, burger patties (with cheese) and grilled onions #kingshawaiian
