GENERAL STAKEHOLDERS EXPERIENCE WITH REGARD TO ECD PRACTITIONERS WORKSHOP PROGRAMME EVENT
This event could not been possible without our various stakeholders. Their continuous dedication and support to this event has been nothing short of incredible.
EL-Kiddos Day Care Center aims to empower it's practitioners gain the knowledge and skills to establish effective Early Childhood Development (ECD) programmes for children in the pre-school. It's objective is to improve the quality of teaching and learning offered to children.
Ntataise partnered with Royal Bafokeng Institute (RBI) offered the programmes to enrich the practitioners by providing them with 14 Theme-Based Activities for ECD that will assist the practitioners develop activities that are fun and age-appropriate.
Our practitioners attended the programmes to better their teaching skills, the video posted on our YouTube Channel demonstrate/show part of practitioners using the knowledge they gained to plan for an activity and also demonstrate it by presenting it, as one displayed as a teacher and the rest displayed as children to show their level of understanding.
An open discussion was held as to ask the group in the video, what development does the activity do to children?, And what they hoped to achieve at the end of the activity, as well as feedback given by the facilitator and the coordinator of the programme that will help practitioners improve their teaching skills.
The interest showned by practitioners as they attended the programme, shows that they care about the development of children as well as of the center and to reach it's greater heights. It shows how dedicated and passionate they are with developing children.
After the completion of the programme, our practitioners where gifted with a Theme-Based kit of 14 different books and the South African National Curriculum Framework for children from birth to four. Some stakeholders offered to say a few motivational and encouraging words to the practitioners who attended the programme and to also thank them for their full dedication and passion they had shown throughout the programme.
The day ended with practitioners taking picture with the facilitator and the coordinators of the programme. Overall was a successful event for everyone and cannot wait for our next workshop to enrich practitioners more.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed towards ensuring the successfulness of the programme and hope to continue empower and develop more practitioners in the Early Childhood Education field.
