At Snoopy Nursery School, we believe early childhood education is about so much more than preparing children for “big school.” It’s about building the foundations for a lifetime of learning. ❤️

📚 Our ECD curriculum is CAPS-aligned, ensuring that our children develop the age-appropriate knowledge and skills they need as they progress through their early learning journey.

But at Snoopy, learning doesn’t only happen sitting at a table. 🧩🎨🌱

Our teachers and assistants are trained in the Play with a Purpose approach, where carefully planned play experiences become meaningful opportunities to learn, discover and grow.

Through purposeful play, our children develop:

✋ Fine and gross motor development

🇿🇦🌈 WHAT A WONDERFUL HERITAGE DAY AT SNOOPY! 🌈🇿🇦

A HUGE thank you to all our amazing Snoopy families for the effort, creativity and support that went into dressing our little ones for our Heritage Day celebration today! ❤️

Our school was filled with colour, smiles and so much pride as we celebrated the beautiful and diverse cultures that make our South African family so special. 🇿🇦✨

Of course, no South African celebration would be complete without some delicious food! 😋 A very special thank you to our wonderful kitchen team for preparing a yummy Heritage Day lunch for our children to enjoy. 🍽️❤️

We had SO much fun celebrating, learning, laughing and making special memories together.

Thank you to our parents, teachers, staff and kitchen team for making today such a beautiful celebration.

🐄🥛 WHAT AN UDDERLY AMAZING WEEK AT SNOOPY! 🧀🤍

Last week, we were mooo-ving and grooving as we explored our exciting DAIRY theme! 🐄✨

Our little learners discovered where milk comes from, learnt all about cows and their milk, and explored the many delicious dairy products made from it. 🥛🧀🧈

There was plenty of hands-on learning, exploring, discovering and, of course, LOTS of fun along the way! 🌟

From moo to milk and everything in between, our Snoopy children had a dairy good time! 😂🐄

Because at Snoopy, learning is always better when we can play, explore and discover together! ❤️

And the verdict from our toughest little food critics? 😂

✨ PLATES CAME BACK CLEAN! ✨

There’s something extra special about a warm, wholesome, home-cooked meal made fresh in our own Snoopy kitchen — especially when our little ones enjoy every last bite. ❤️

🎭🐾 THE CURTAINS ARE OPEN AT SNOOPY! 🐾🎭

We are so excited to officially introduce our brand-new Snoopy Puppet Theatre! ❤️

On Friday, our little ones enjoyed the theatre’s very first performance — “Officer Paws and the Safety Team!” 🚓👮🐾

Through lots of fun, laughter and our colourful puppet characters, the children learned important lessons about police officers, staying safe and who we can turn to when we need help.

Our new puppet theatre is about so much more than putting on a show. 🌈 Through stories and imaginative play, we can bring our weekly themes to life while helping our children learn, laugh, participate and explore important lessons in a way they will remember.

And this is only the beginning! 🎭✨

We look forward to many more Snoopy Puppet Theatre adventures, with new characters, new stories and plenty of surprises waiting behind the curtain.
