ACCIDENT SCENE HEROES
I am exceptionally proud of the following learners:
• Waratwa Zenkele
• Kgosi Zenkele
• Asonele Melane
• Malesela Bambo
• Xolela Gidi
• Thandolwethu Zengele
• Lashley Hadebe
• Molaela Maimela
They witnessed an accident in March and they all jumped in to the rescue of the injured person. The lady is most appreciative and grateful for their help. These boys and girls are heroes and all received a certificate of merit for their heroic actions! Congratulations!
Top 32 Bill Stewart Tournament (U/13 School Boys)
Kaleb Pofadder and Adrian Moyo participated in a Football Interprovincial Tournament that was held in Bloemfontein at the University of the Free State. A 5-day intense football experience where they played 14 games in 5 days. The tournament gave them lovely exposure and making friends with boys from different provinces. We are so proud of them for obtaining provincial colours. This is a huge achievement. Congratulations Kaleb and Adrian.

We are always so proud of our learners and their achievements, but if we don’t know about these achievements then we aren’t able to celebrate and acknowledge their achievements.

MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS – 04 NOVEMBER 2026
Municipal Elections will be taking place at our school on Wednesday, 04 November 2026. This will therefore be a Public Holiday. The Grade 4 and 5 prizegiving which was scheduled for this date will move and now take place on Friday, 06 November 2026.
AFTERCARE
Please remember that our Aftercare is open every day. Mrs Gouws will gladly assist you. Please contact her on 072 729 2860.
LOST PROPERTY
Please take note that all lost property items are available outside the Grade 2 classrooms during school hours. Kindly mark your child’s school uniform, not only on the label, but inside the clothing item as well.
SAFETY OF OUR LEARNERS
There are far too many Parents and Transport Drivers who do not pick learners up at the correct time. Learners end up waiting outside. Parents – this is not safe or acceptable – please address this urgently.
ANNUAL “LTSM” FEE PAYMENTS
Thank you to our parents who have paid the LTSM fee of R700-00. There are, however, many learners whose fee has not been paid. Please rectify this immediately.
UNIFORM SHOP
Our Uniform Shop has moved. It is now next to the Tuck Shop. Parents will be served at the windows. We are proud of this new project’s outcome as this area is more accessible as it is closer to the middle gate and there is more space for stock.
Thank you to all staff members involved in this exciting change.
SCHOOL FEES
The SGB and I have addressed this matter on more than one occasion. Boskop is a fee-paying school and we are unable to offer services without payment. It is unacceptable that some Parents disregard school fees owing and yet they are still receiving a quality service for their child’s education.
Parents – please watch posts circulating on social media that show evidence of how schools decline if Parents do not pay school fees. We have now handed arrears accounts over to our Debt Collectors. Parents will now be blacklisted.
Thank you to those Parents who are invested in their child’s education and have their school fee accounts up to date / paid in full.
THANK YOU
A huge thanks to Mrs le Roux’s family who donated a wonderful selection of books for use in our Foundation and Intersen Phase Libraries.
