🌍💚 World Environment Day at Our School 💚🌍

Today our learners celebrated World Environment Day with an exciting scavenger hunt around the school grounds! Through teamwork, observation, and discovery, they explored ways to care for and protect our environment.

The adventure ended with a special Environmental Pledge, where our learners committed to making a positive difference by reducing waste, conserving resources, and showing respect for the world around them.

We are proud of our young environmental champions and the enthusiasm they showed in helping to create a greener, more sustainable future. 🌱🌎

This week, the children have been exploring, experimenting, and creating using a variety of materials. They participated in threading activities to develop fine motor skills and concentration, and used loose parts to design and build their own unique creations.

🎉 What an Incredible Day! 🎉

On May 22nd, our Grade 10s came together for the riseagainsthunger_africa Meal Packaging Event, and it was a blast! 🙌✨

Not only did we have an amazing time bonding with classmates, but we also made a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger. Every meal packaged represents a step towards positivity and change in our community!

Our goal was to pack 32 400 meals and we exceeded that by packing 35 388 meals! Let’s keep rising together! 🌟💪

Measuring the length of objects does not always need to be done conventionally. The Tigers class had some fun measuring both inside and outside the classroom.

We started with the standard question: “Who is the tallest?” using only our sight and observation skills. We then explored different ways of measuring by using Checkers 60/60 brown paper bags and even our own bodies stretched out on the carpet to see how long it was.

Taking the fun outdoors, the children used 30cm rulers to measure various objects around the playground and garden.

A wonderful mix of learning, laughter, fresh air, and hands-on exploration!

Cold mornings, tired bodies, and then a simple cup of coffee from a thoughtful parent ☕️

It’s the little things like this that remind us how lucky we are to have such amazing support around us.

Grateful beyond words.
