Wear your favourite civvies and help us show Munashe just how much his Skye family is behind him. π
A R20 contribution will be added to school fees, so no cash needed on the day.
____
Munashe is a much-loved Skye College student who is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Our school community is rallying around him and his family to help raise funds towards his care and treatment.
If you'd like to contribute to Munashe's medical costs, you can do so here: https://bit.ly/3TUZO9V.

Thrive Youth headed outdoors again this morning. βοΈ
Thereβs just something about sitting in the warm sun on a winterβs morning. The extra vitamin D was a bonus, but that golden light over everyone was just too good. π
There was plenty of energy during praise and worship πΆ, but also some really special quieter moments as everyone took hands and prayed together. π
A little loud. A little still. All very Skye. β€οΈ

*Skye is a Christian school - our faith influences the way we teach, build relationships, and create community. We welcome and respect all families, and participation in faith-based activities is always optional. Everyone belongs here.

Small throwback to winter gardening at Galaxy Club, when our Galaxy Clubbers became, in their words, "farmers." π₯¦
Veggies planted. Soil handled with expert care. A promise that when the tomatoes arrive, they'll get proper credit.
We're already looking forward to seeing what pushes through.

There are probably a hundred reasons why families choose Skye.
The beautiful spaces. The support systems. The academic rigour. The teachers who notice. The energy on campus. And yes, perhaps even the jumping pillow. π
But the reason that tends to matter most is the one you cannot always measure on paper - a child walking into school feeling:
Iβm known here. I matter here. I belong here.
Come find your reason.

That's a wrap on Galaxy Club for the winter break. And what a way to end it.
Jewellery making (with some very serious bead-sorting). Beach art. Bird feeders assembled by tiny experts. And crystal making, which felt a little bit like magic.
Thank you to every Galaxy Clubber for making the past few weeks so full. It never gets old, watching our little ones dive headfirst into every moment. π

You don't have to commit to a full tour to see if Skye is right for your family. π
Skye's Open Day, Saturday 15 August, is "hop on, hop off." Drop in for 20 minutes. Or stay for two hours. Bring the kids; they'll have their own activities, from preschool play to high school science.
Explore different stations and get to know Skye on your own terms.
Love what you see? Our Admissions team will be there to help you take the next step, with a sign-up benefit available on the day.

Week 2 of Galaxy Club is a wrap. And what a full-to-the-brim week it's been. β¨
A mystery box game (very mysterious). Arts and crafts. Engaging experiments. And a generous helping of messy play. A big warm welcome to the new friends who joined us this week too.
It never gets old, watching our Galaxy Clubbers dive headfirst into every moment. π
Bring on Week 3.
