Sam "Tech Girl" Wright is a gaming blogger who started e-sports broadcasting in 2016. She hosted a few South African tournaments before co-hosting the 2016 Telkom DGL Masters Finals alongside Paul "Redeye" Chaloner. She was the desk host for the Samsung Galaxy CSGO Championship in 2017 before moving into other titles. In 2018 she was named the desk host for Overwatch Contenders Europe. She also creates content for her own blog and social channels as well as contributing esports news to Red Bull's website. She has a gaming radio show on South African radio station 5fm and is also the South African Razer brand ambassador.

Spearheading an innovative approach to environmentally sound management of electronic waste in Ghana.
22-year-old Joseph is determined to tackle Ghana’s electronic waste problem head-on. In 2017, he founded Agbogblo. Shine Initiative – A social enterprise geared towards sustainable recycling of e-waste at Agbogbloshie, an e-waste dump. For his efforts in climate action and environmental conservation, Joseph became the youngest person in history recognised by the West African Business Excellence Awards and was awarded "Most Promising Social Entrepreneur" in May of 2018.

To say his rise to stardom has been meteoric would be something of an understatement. Kagiso Rabada is a South African international cricketer who plays all formats of the game. In July 2016, he became the first cricketer to win six awards at Cricket South Africa's (CSA) annual dinner, including Cricketer of the Year. By January 2018, he had topped both the ICC ODI bowler rankings and the ICC Test bowler rankings at the age of 22.

Upile is a storyteller from Malawi and a graduate of the University of Oxford. She is known for her short and powerful poems. soft magic is her first collection of poetry and prose. She lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. She started writing at the age of 4 but it took her years to embrace her talent. While in New York City, she received an email from two Folio Literary Managements agents. She signed a three-book deal with Andrews McMeel Publishing. She founded a monthly mentorship program for writers called Khala. All profits for the series is donated.

Endurance and perseverance goes hand in hand for this star athlete.
At the young age of 18, he is a World Cross Country silver medallist. At the age of fifteen he won the 10,000 metres bronze medal at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships. His achievements put him in the running to be selected as part of Uganda’s Olympic team, making him one of the youngest Olympians in the country. He shows no signs of stopping as he continues making a run to the top spot.

Karun has gone through several phases in her career. Sara Ahmed is an Egyptian weightlifter who won a bronze medal in the women's 69 kg event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is living proof that women can do anything and be great at it. Ahmed was encouraged to take part in weightlifting by her family and was competing internationally by 2012. In Rio, she became the first Arab woman to receive an Olympic weightlifting medal and the first Egyptian woman to receive an Olympic medal on the podium in any discipline.

Clarence Munyai is a South African sprinter. He is the 3rd fastest all-time junior in the 100m dash. He is one of the youngest South African Olympians of all time and has always remained modest on and off the track. Matthew and Karidas are proof that two young entrepreneurs can find big solutions to even bigger problems.
Matthew and Karidas launched their first business, Money Tree, from their UCT dorm rooms. They wanted to start a business that would solve a real, endemic problem. As finance students, financial literacy seemed the best fit. Moving to Johannesburg to start a business, they had to sleep on the floor with no money for rent or electricity, but it did not get them down as they put on their suits and tried to make it work. The business they created is called Khula, a platform that connects producers to clients who are looking for locally grown fresh produce.

Avthar Aniruth is a self-taught 21-year-old entrepreneur from Durban who is the founder of Audience Networks. He grew up watching YouTube videos and started making small videos with the family camcorder. The young entrepreneur founded his company Epic Motion Pictures and Audience Networks three years ago.

The initial interest in the mountains and ski slopes of her new home in Austria has evolved into a passion which has put her on a path to making history. Her ski coach Christian Reif took on the ropes to groom her in the sport. The then 19-year-old was set to become the first female alpine skier to represent Kenya at the Winter Olympics. Today the 21-year old Kenyan is a world renowned ski racer.
