Our youngest learners are working hard, building skills, and growing in confidence every day — all while enjoying the process.

As we break up to observe Holy Week and Easter, we are reminded of the importance of compassion, generosity, and service.

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents for their generous donation of Easter eggs. Through your kindness, our Grade 7 learners were able to share joy with a local old age home and a smaller school in our community. 🐣

📗✨ READING TIME IN AFRIKAANS CLASS ✨📗

Our learners first listened to a story about a zebra, explored new vocabulary, and then practised reading the words independently using their fluisterfone.

The whispering phone allows learners to softly read aloud while clearly hearing their own voice. This supports auditory processing, pronunciation, and confidence in reading.

By seeing, saying, and hearing the words, learners engage multiple senses — making reading both effective and enjoyable.

📚✨ A Magical Day of Reading & Imagination ✨📚

At our school, we believe that reading is more than just words — it is understanding, imagination, and growth.

We were honoured to welcome ATKV-Taalmagneet this past weekend, as they once again opened a world of language and learning for our learners.

On Saturday, 14 March 2026, the fairy-tale world came to life as our learners were immersed in stories, imagination, and the joy of language. Through this experience, they not only discovered new words, but deepened their understanding of Afrikaans in a meaningful and engaging way.

We are truly grateful for this partnership and for the opportunity to nurture a love of reading in our learners. 🌱
