We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve officially changed our name from 𝐊𝐃𝐒 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 to 𝐊𝐃𝐒 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐬!

Why the change? This name better reflects our vision, our mission, and our purpose. "𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐬" speaks directly to the core of what we do—training, empowering, and inspiring artisans across various trades. KDS in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional affairs is conducting a 5 day gender mainstreaming training programme for councillors and municipal officials in Gauteng.

The training seeks to empower local government officials with the requisite skills to enable them to contribute to the development of policy legislation and or structures that promote gender equality and women empowerment within the local government activities
