Why the change? This name better reflects our vision, our mission, and our purpose. Our goal is to become a leading institution where skilled artisans can receive specialized training that aligns with industry demands and meets the highest standards of excellence.

This name change represents a shift towards deeper specialization, a commitment to equipping future artisans, and a promise to uphold quality in every program we deliver. KDS in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional affairs is conducting a 5 day gender mainstreaming training programme for councillors and municipal officials in Gauteng.

The training seeks to empower local government officials with the requisite skills to enable them to contribute to the development of policy legislation and or structures that promote gender equality and women empowerment within the local government activities
