🌱 A South African first for Little Ashford!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Little Ashford is the first stand-alone preschool in South Africa to join Thinking Schools South Africa (TSSA) as a Thinking School.
This is more than a membership, it is meaningful recognition of the educational philosophy that sets Little Ashford apart.
At the heart of our curriculum is a deep commitment to inquiry- (and play)-based learning. Curiosity is intentionally woven into our daily programme and celebrated, giving our little ones the freedom and confidence to wonder, question, investigate, experiment and make their own discoveries.
While inquiry-led learning is still uncommon in many early childhood settings, we believe that even the littlest learners are capable thinkers with big questions, thoughtful ideas and extraordinary potential.
Becoming a TSSA Thinking School marks an important step in our journey. We are excited to deepen our practice, learn alongside like-minded educational experts and colleagues, and continue shaping an approach to early learning where curiosity truly leads the way.
