What began in Culinary Arts and Hospitality is growing across Beauty and Health and Safety, but the purpose remains the same: to provide credible training that equips people with practical skills and a real pathway forward.

A little look into the kitchen at Kushinda Academy. 👩🏾‍🍳✨

Our students got hands-on with pastry and confectionery techniques, from double-boiling dark chocolate and creating a marbled Swiss roll with dark chocolate mousse, to learning the art of sugar work and creating a delicate sugar basket.

The desserts were finished with strawberries, gooseberries and some beautiful sugar garnishes. 🍓✨

Chef Liberty was in the kitchen guiding our students through the session and helping them put these techniques into practice.

This is what practical learning at Kushinda looks like…learning the skill, understanding the technique and creating something beautiful along the way.
