Today, we received this beautiful message from a parent, sharing a little moment that meant so much. Seeing a child engage with another child, take turns, wait patiently and simply enjoy playing together is a huge milestone 🥹⚽️

These moments may look small to some, but we know just how much growth, teaching, patience and support can sit behind them.
We are incredibly proud of our learners and so grateful to our amazing team who work every day to create opportunities for our children to grow, connect and thrive 💙

We are SO incredibly proud of our boy, Mpho! 🥹💙

We had the privilege of working with Mpho when he was just a young boy, and seeing him grow into the incredible young man he is today makes our hearts so full.

And now look at him 🌟 He has been selected as a school monitor and member of the school’s leadership team! What an incredible achievement!

Watching our former learners grow, thrive and reach new milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We couldn’t be prouder of you, Mpho! 💙

Every child sees the world in their own unique way — and at our centre, we celebrate that difference every single day.

Autism is not something to “fix” — it’s something to understand, support, and embrace. Behind every moment of progress is patience, trust, and a whole lot of love.

Hi, I’m Corneli 👋🏼

I am a qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2020. I have a special interest in paediatric, developmental, and neonatal therapy and am passionate about supporting infants and children to reach their full developmental potential.

I am Ayres Sensory Integration®️ trained and a qualified IAIM Infant Massage Instructor. My approach to therapy is child- and family-centred, using evidence-based intervention to support sensory processing, motor development, emotional regulation, and overall functional participation.

I believe in working closely with families and caregivers to ensure therapy is meaningful, supportive, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Blessed with the best OT that does therapy at our Centre 💙

Hi, I’m Sharon 👋🏼

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist after completing my BSc (OT) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1988. I began my career working in adult psychiatry, where I gained valuable clinical experience over several years.

While raising my children, I pursued other interests, during which time I developed extensive practical insight as the mother of a daughter with severe physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as two typically developing sons. This personal journey has deeply informed my therapeutic approach and understanding of family-centred care.

I am Ayres Sensory Integration® qualified and have a special interest in DIR®/Floortime™ and early childhood development. I have a passion for working with children with special needs and am deeply committed to supporting each child in reaching their full potential.
