Riebeeck Vallei Spesiale Skool Riebeeckvallei Spesiale Skool is a practical training school of excellence. We cater for children with learning difficulties between 14 and 18 years.

Riebeeck Valley Special School (RVSS) caters for children with learning difficulties between 14 and 18 years of age. Core subjects such as Mathematics, Afrikaans and English are taught but the main emphasis is on practical courses such as woodwork, clothes making, mechanical engineering and welding, food preparation and serving, hair dressing and agriculture. Many of the learners come from poor fa

milies. The school aims to turn out young adults who will find jobs, become useful members of the community, and thus be able to support themselves and their families. It is certainly not a place where young people are just kept off the streets for four years.
