On 11 September 2018, the University of Zululand hosted its Student Appreciation Day to appreciate the student ushers who assisted during the women’s day event. This initiative was in recognition of the Communication Science student's who contributed towards the success of the event which was held at Richard’s bay campus.
Recognition and appreciation are known as one of the key motivational factors in the workplace. As a token of appreciation, I was one of the students received certificates accompanied by goodie bags as well as a special luncheon.
Experiential learning opportunities are key when investigating careers in media studies, whether internships, job shadows, or informational interviews.
There are organisations that I wish to aspire to approach for my 6 month experiential learning,
