Eben Fourie (Gr4) het die afgelope week aan die Con Spirito Nasionale Forte Ronde deelgeneem waar hy Arboretum Primêre Skool verteenwoordig het en die kompetisie geïndig het met:

We are excited and very proud to share that Uminathi Monchusi recently participated in a Karate Tournament in Northern Natal and achieved 1st place in both Kumite and Kata! 🥋🏆🏆

He competed in Kumite in the 8–10 years category and Kata in the 7–8 years category, and proudly brought home two 1st-place victories.

He currently holds an Orange Belt, and we are incredibly proud of the discipline, dedication and hard work he continues to put into karate.

🎉👗 FUN FRIDAY – WRONG OCCASION! 😂🎭

Today, our staff and learners took “dressing for the occasion” to a whole new level… by dressing for the WRONG occasion! 🤣

From weddings to beach days, sports events to fancy parties, we had it ALL happening at school today! 👰‍♀️🏖️⚽🎩✨

What a fun way to end the week! Our school was filled with laughter, creativity and some seriously questionable outfit choices! 😂🙌

🚗🚂 GRADE 2 GO PLACES! ✈️🚀

Our Grade 2 learners have been exploring the exciting world of Transport this term! 🌍

Over the weekend, they were challenged to put their imaginations, creativity and problem-solving skills to work by creating their very own mode of transport using recycled materials. ♻️✨

And WOW… what an amazing collection of creative transport inventions! From cars and trucks to imaginative flying machines and everything in between, our learners certainly proved that with a little imagination, anything can go! 😍

A huge well done to our Grade 2 learners for thinking outside the box, reusing materials and having so much fun while learning! 👏💙

Who knew recycling could take us on such an exciting journey? 🚌🚁🚀🌈

We are incredibly proud of Nomzamo Mbatha and Andiswa Mpungose, who represented Arboretum Primary School at the 2nd Round of the King Cetshwayo NS&T and Mathematics Competition for Grades 5 & 9, held on 7 August 2026.

🌟 Nomzamo achieved 1st place, while Andiswa achieved 2nd place! Both learners will now progress to Round 3 on 20 August 2026.
