🐄🐖🐑 Our Theme of the Week: FARM ANIMALS! 🌾
This week our little learners are discovering the wonderful world of farm animals! 🐔🐮🐷🐑 From cows and sheep to chickens, pigs and horses, we are learning about the animals that live on a farm, the sounds they make, what they eat, and how we can care for them. 🌱❤️
One of our favourite activities has been playdough on our farm-animal playdough mats! 🧑🌾🎨
Playdough play is so much more than just fun! It helps our little ones develop:
✨ Fine-motor skills – squeezing, rolling, pinching and shaping strengthens little hands and fingers.
🧠 Creativity & imagination – children can create their own farm animals, food and farm scenes.
👀 Hand-eye coordination – placing and shaping playdough encourages controlled movements.
🗣️ Language development – while playing, children learn and use new words such as cow, sheep, tractor, farmer, chicken and barn.
🤝 Social skills – sharing playdough, taking turns and creating together encourages cooperation.
🎯 Concentration & problem-solving – children think about how to create different shapes and animals.
Most importantly, they are learning through play! 💚
We love watching little hands get busy, little minds get creative and little hearts grow as our learners explore God's wonderful creation. 🌍🐄
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” – Psalm 24:1 🙏💚

🌞🌙 Theme of the Week: Day & Night 🌙🌞
This week at our school, our little learners explored the beautiful rhythm of day and night—a wonderful part of God’s creation!
We learned that:
✨ The sun rises in the morning to give us light and warmth for the day
✨ The moon and stars shine at night, lighting up the dark sky
✨ Daytime is for playing, learning, and exploring, while nighttime is for resting and growing strong
✨ Our bodies also follow this pattern—awake in the day and sleepy at night
🔍 Fun Facts:
🌍 The Earth spins all the time, and that’s what causes day and night!
🌙 The moon doesn’t make its own light—it reflects the light of the sun
⭐ Some stars are even bigger than our sun!
Through stories, activities, and creative play, our learners discovered how special both day and night are. We spoke about how God created the light and the darkness, and how He watches over us at all times—whether we are awake or asleep.
📖 “God called the light ‘day,’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’” – Genesis 1:5
We are so proud of our little stars for their curiosity and excitement this week! 💛

Our little scientists explored a fascinating ice experiment! ❄️🌈
We used warm, coloured water and sprinkled salt onto ice… and then the magic happened! The salt created tiny tunnels in the ice, and the warm coloured water helped us clearly see these hidden pathways.
Here’s the cause and effect our learners discovered:
🔹 Cause: We added salt to the ice
🔹 Effect: The salt lowered the freezing point, causing the ice to melt and form tunnels
🔹 Cause: We poured warm, coloured water over the ice
🔹 Effect: The water flowed through the tunnels, making them visible and easier to observe
Through this hands-on experiment, our little ones learned:
✨ Basic science concepts like cause and effect
✨ How temperature and substances like salt affect ice
✨ Observation and discovery skills
✨ Wonder for God’s amazing creation
So many beautiful “wow!” moments as they watched science come to life! 💕

🐾 Theme of the Week: PETS! 🐾
This week at school we are exploring the wonderful world of pets! Our little ones are learning about how to care for animals, different types of pets, and why they are such special companions. 🐶🐱🐰
✨ Did you know?
• Dogs have an amazing sense of smell—up to 40 times better than humans!
• Cats spend about 70% of their lives sleeping 😴
• Rabbits can jump as high as 1 meter!
• Fish can recognize their owners and get excited at feeding time 🐠
• Pets can help us feel happy, calm, and loved ❤️
We will be doing fun activities like pretend pet care, art, and storytelling—all while learning kindness and responsibility.
We are so excited to see our little animal lovers grow this week! 🐾💛
