DIY: Christmas T-shirts with Cricut.

Because nothing says festive downtime like a Christmas T-Shirt and cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. This is but the classier version with a classy red Iron-On onto a white tee, and the design straight from Design Space making it quick and easy.

What do you make time for?

Every now and again I need to remind myself to step away and take time to just do that thing that sets my soul on fire. Lately it looks very different, but there are some things I still very much need to do, but just applied differently and used for different purposes - and that makes all the difference. But it still includes ink and colour and that makes me happy.
Still in love with my alcohol ink for the possibilities and effects I can create. Here's to celebrating the little things in life with colour and pattern and just stepping away from the noise of everyday life.

Christmas Cards.

For my Christmas Cards I am still on the gingerbread/bear theme, but adding a little embossed background for that added detail. I wish I did the background on my Cricut, but I did do it using my extensive range of Christmas embossing folders on my Cuttlebug. Yes that blast from the past is still in my stash and recently while going through some stuff, I remembered how much I love using these embossing folders. Plus a little old school crafting never hurt anyone, and it pairs perfectly with my Cricut cut bear.

Loving the shades of gold and brown with loads of shimmer.

It's the little details for me.
I am on a mission to use at least some of my copious amounts of brown cardstock - yeah who knows why I have so much, but here we are. So Reindeer, gingerbread men and bears with hints of gold and shimmer are the common theme for festive this year.
And what better way than to send a little parcel aka a gift card + card inside a nicely decorated bubble envelope.

Digging into all the pretty stuff and channelling all the beautiful die-cut elements, sayings and quotes. Because at the end of the day you realise that life is pretty wonderful.

All the hearts.

A single page layout with a plethora of hearts cut on my Maker 3 using cardstock from . Combined with some new stamps, embellishments and die-cut elements and finished off with hand sewn details around some of the hearts. Slowly but surely I am finding my joy again - in spite of circumstances and people. Because at the end of the day I know what matters most. One day at a time, one layout at a time, one inked playdate at a time.
