Laura's Guitar and Ukulele Lessons

I offer lessons from my home in Chester Road, Bryanston area for individuals or for pairs of students, in guitar and ukulele. I have been teaching guitar and ukulele for the past 18 years, most recently at a formal music center for the past 7 and a half years. I specialize in beginners and intermediate students and concentrate on popular music, music that is familiar to and loved by children. The essence of my teaching is to encourage a love of playing music in children, in a fun and enjoyable environment. Playing a musical instrument can have many objectives, apart from the mastery of the instrument itself, it can assist in improving fine motor co-ordination, developing self-confidence, learning pitch and melody plus many others.

Lesson duration is 30 minutes, once a week. Fees are as follows:
R120 a lesson for individual students paid monthly in advance.
R 80 a lesson per student in a paired group, paid monthly in advance. Paired children must be of similar age and developmental level.
