For TVET Colleges
The International Youth Foundation (IYF), a non-governmental organisation, and Infomage (Pty) Ltd, dedicated to promoting economic empowerment and education, are proud to announce its comprehensive wrap-around services for (TVET) colleges. The Wrap Around Skills is an Agile Response to the latest market trends, as observed by Infomage and IYF. These programs are aligned with the Google Programs and are designed to support these programs.
The intention is to recognize the objective of Economic Emancipation rather than confine the individual to only two choices: a job or a small business. With a mission to equip students with essential life skills, we aim to empower them to thrive in the modern workforce. In this policy, we will delve into our various services, including creating a compelling CV/profile, developing critical thinking abilities, mastering interview skills, and excelling in budgeting and financial management.
1. Creating a Compelling CV/Profile: A well-crafted curriculum vitae (CV) or professional profile is crucial for securing employment opportunities. ITF provides comprehensive guidance on creating effective resumes and profiles, ensuring that TVET college students showcase their skills, qualifications, and experiences compellingly. Our experts offer personalised feedback and tips on tailoring CVs to specific job requirements, increasing students' chances of success in their job search.
2. Developing Critical Thinking Abilities: Critical thinking is invaluable in today's complex and rapidly changing world. Infomage conducts workshops and training sessions to help TVET college students enhance their critical thinking abilities.
