Police Clearance for SACE?
Your fingerprints will be captured with our bio-metric scanners and your result will be available between 90 minutes or 48 hours, depending on the option you choose. Although the Clearance is not an official Police Clearance Certificate it is accepted by SACE.

Do you need a police clearance for SACE?
The police clearance certificate must not be older than six months at the time of submission to SACE. The Police Clearance Certificate must be verifiable. Proof of enrolment for the current academic year for a professional teaching qualification.

Can one teach without being registered with SACE?
All educators working in South African schools, public and independent, in the GET or FET bands, must be registered with SACE (the South African Council of Educators). It is illegal for any teacher to work without SACE registration.
