“To lead is to measurably help others to succeed. If we do so courageously, with humility and an attitude of service, and, especially, by example, celebrating the good in life and open to God's plan, we have a very special form of leadership.

It's servant leadership. Leadership through love. Leadership through a sense of duty to something greater than us, a sense of duty to the people of this institution, and to the institution itself.

God-inspired leadership that acknowledges the unique giftedness of the individuals that make up Get Ahead College. Like love itself, it is selfless, like true love it is deeply caring, without love, it is nothing”

Today we gathered to ask God's blessing on a group of pupils that has won the trust of their teachers and peers as leaders.

FUTURE LEADERS: We all know that a great matric group means a great year for the whole school, so this weekend our Grade 11 cohort headed to East London for a weekend of team-building, leadership development, and, of course, loads of fun. The Grade 11’s spent the term fundraising for the trip, ensuring that no-one was left behind on the basis of affordability. 2026 is not yet done, but we’re ready and waiting for a great 2027!
