🌍❤️ Celebrating Our Heritage at Balmoral Pre-Primary! 🇿🇦
Our little girls had a wonderful ending to the busy third term, by celebrating the beauty and diversity of our South African heritage! 🇿🇦✨
Dressed in their beautiful heritage clothing, they learnt about our country, explored our traditions and enjoyed some fun art activities. 🎨💕
And what better way to end the celebrations than with a delicious boerewors roll, lovingly braaied by Uncle Thobeko! 🌭🔥

Hollie Milne and Katherine Sahd will be attending the prestigious National u13 Squash Camp hosted by TuksSquash and Squash South Africa during the holidays. We congratulate these two ladies on qualifying for this event and wish them everything of the best!

Hannah Lemmer will be competing in the Athletics South Africa league these holidays with a meeting at the Jan Smuts Stadium in East London. Hannah will be representing Border in the 800m and the 1500m events. Good luck Hannah and keep flying the Balmoral flag high!

Today, our Balmoral girls brought colour, culture, and wonderful diversity into our school as we celebrated Heritage Day ahead of 24 September. 🤩🇿🇦

It was a special day filled with pride as our learners showcased their heritage through traditional dress and cultural expression. We are proud to celebrate the diversity that strengthens and enriches our school community. 🫶

Our playground was set alight with colour today as our Foundation Phase girls arrived in the most stunning traditional outfits! ❤️💛💚💙 The beautiful colours, patterns and traditions on display made for such a wonderful celebration of our diverse heritage.

The girls were then treated to a morning of fun and games, all organised by our incredibly enthusiastic Grade 7 BIG Sisters! 🥳 From laughter to excitement, there was certainly no shortage of fun!
And while the girls were having a ball, uncle Ian and uncle Lucky were hard at work on the braai! 🔥😋 The girls were then fed a delicious boerewors roll, followed by some yummy milk tart. What more could you ask for?!

A morning filled with colour, culture, laughter, food and plenty of fun! ❤️
