WE’RE TAKING ON THE TITAN OF THE TARTAN! Our Hangklip High School staff are swapping the staffroom for the track as we take on the Titan of the Tartan Run!

It’s going to be 6 hours of running, teamwork, determination and plenty of fun as we work together to complete our 135 laps. Every lap will count and every cheer will keep us going!

We’re not just running for the finish line — we’re running for Hangklip, for our school and for the incredible spirit that brings us together.

This past weekend, our Senior and Junior debate teams competed at the Eastern Cape Schools Debating Championships (Provincials) hosted at Victoria Park High School.

The Junior team achieved a competitive semi-final victory against Queenstown Girls' before finishing as runners-up in the Plate final against Queen's College.

Similarly, we proudly congratulate Reina Betancourt, Siziphiwe Paul, and Avethandwa Mpolweni (Captain) for their selection in the Provincial Trial Squad.

What an incredible day of learning, teamwork and creativity!

Our learners had the opportunity to attend the Chris Hani West District Technology Exhibition and Olympiads at Gali Thembani, where they put their knowledge and skills into action.

From working together on Olympiad activities to designing, building and presenting their projects, our learners showed problem-solving skills, creativity, perseverance and teamwork. 🤝✨

We are incredibly proud of the effort and enthusiasm they displayed throughout the day. These opportunities allow our learners to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world challenges. 💡🔩📐
