🌿 A Valuable Opportunity for Our Young Men

Ten young men from Prince Albert recently spent a week at Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve, where they completed training in snake awareness, brush cutting and first aid, presented by Nature Connect SA.

We are incredibly grateful to Drie Kuilen for welcoming our students and providing such a beautiful environment in which to learn, and to Nature Connect SA for organising the training and investing in the development of our young people.

Opportunities like these provide practical skills, build confidence and help prepare our students for future employment. Thank you for partnering with Prince Albert Skills School and supporting the youth of our community. We look forward to many more collaborations in the future. 🌱

Learning through music 🎶

For the first few months of the year, we were very fortunate to have a music teacher at the school, giving our learners the opportunity to explore music in a new way.

Through music, learners practised structure, rhythm and control, while also building confidence, focus and self-expression.

Projects like these help them learn by doing, while also creating something useful for the school.
