What is a problem statement? It can be defined as an issue that exists in the literature, theory, or practice that
leads to a need for the study. It should be presented within a context, and that context should be provided and briefly explained, including a discussion of the conceptual or theoretical
framework in which it is embedded. This is of major importance in nearly all proposals and requires careful attention and is essential in all quantitative research and much qualitative research.

Research is the process whereby it is the organised and systematic method of finding answers to questions. It is a process broken up into clear steps that can lead to conclusions regarding the topic that is being investigated. Research can help to find the right solutions by providing facts to help us analyse the problem, it can test the feasibility and help us to find better solutions to problems or challenges.
