South Africa’s feed industry continues to show resilience, with February 2026 production reaching 550,550 tons — up 2.1% year-on-year compared to February 2025.

While month-on-month production softened by 5.9%, the year-on-year performance remains stronger than the previous three years, reflecting continued stability and recovery across the sector
