SET YOUR HEART ON PILGRIMAGE!!

Psalm 84:5 NKJV
Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

If we want to be strong in this season this scripture gives us a key how to do it. When our heart is set on pilgrimage. Wikipedia describe it like this. A pilgrimage is a journey, often into an unknown or foreign place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self, others, nature, or a higher good through the experience. It can lead to a personal transformation, after which the pilgrim returns to their daily life. We understand that is what this word say we must expand our spiritual life. Not to be satisfied where we are spiritually but be on a pilgrimage. There is a scripture that God said to Abram.

Genesis 12:1 NKJV
Now the LORD had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.

God gave to Abram this instruction gets out of your country. Abram did not know where he will end. Because he trusted God. He packed everything and he moved from his country to another place that he did not know. There was also a promise.

Genesis 12:2-4 NKJV
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
4 So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

That is a picture given by God. When we willing to leave our old paradigm then God will also make us great. He will protect us, and God will bless us. But the instruction is GO ON A PILGRIMAGE. The secret to be able to do this is written in:

Genesis 15:6 NKJV
And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.
Abram secret was he believed in the Lord, he trusted God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.
