Lady lilian

Lady lilian Ever grieve something that never actually happened? A future that didn't arrive. A version of yourself you thought you'd be by now. Prayers that went unanswered.

That's the grief we talk about here. The invisible kind. The unnamed kind.

Don’t judge the old tools. Thank them for their service. Then gently put them down, and pick up the new ones.
With no roadmap, no support group, no cultural script for your kind of loss, you used what you had.
You used distraction. You used suppression. You used numbness. You used overwork.
These were your tools. And they worked. They got you through the days, the months, the years.
Now you have new information. Now you know these sensations are signals, not just suffering.
Now you can choose new tools: acknowledgment, compassion, expression, release.
Don’t judge the old tools. Thank them for their service. Then gently, put them down, and pick up the new ones.

Your mind can rationalize. Your mouth can say, “I’m fine.” Your social media can show a smiling face.
Your mind can rationalize. Your mouth can say “I’m fine.” Your social media can show a smiling face.
But your body? It tells the truth.
It can’t post a filtered version. It can’t gaslight itself. It can’t pretend it’s over something it hasn’t processed.
The tension, the fatigue, the pain—this is its truth-telling.
It is the most honest part of you, refusing to participate in the charade of “moving on” when the work of grieving hasn’t been done.
Thank your body for its honesty. It is the ally your heart has been waiting for.

Your symptoms tell a story.
They are not just things to be fixed. They are chapters to be read.
The fatigue chapter: “Here is where she carried the weight alone.”
The anxiety chapter: “Here is where she learned the world was not safe.”
The pain chapter: “Here is where her heartbreak took up residence in her tissue.”
Your body has been writing a memoir of survival. It may not be a happy story, but it is a true one.
And true stories, when fully witnessed, can finally reach their conclusion.
Don’t burn the book. Read it. Then write a new chapter.

To have a body that whispers (or shouts) its truth is not a design flaw.
It is the design.
You are built to feel. You are wired to connect emotion to sensation. You are designed to process experience through your nervous system.
What you’re experiencing is not a breakdown of humanity. It is humanity itself.
The broken part was the world that told you your grief wasn’t real.
Your body is just refusing that lie. It is insisting on its humanity, its sensitivity, its glorious, messy capacity to be affected by life.

Of course, you’re tired—you’ve been carrying a ghost.
Let that sink in.
Of course you’re tired—you’ve been carrying a ghost.
You are not a mystery. You are an equation, and every variable has a reason..
Of course you’re numb—you had to turn down the volume on pain to function.
Of course you hurt—your body is speaking the grief your voice couldn’t.
Look at the pattern. It’s not random. It’s logical. It’s causal.
In the context of ungrieved loss, every single thing you’re experiencing makes perfect sense.
You are not a mystery. You are a equation, and every variable has a reason.
