🌟 Star Genius 2026 – Knowledge, Talent & Excellence! 🧠🏆

What an incredible day of knowledge and friendly competition at Star College Pretoria, as we proudly hosted Star Genius 2026! 🌟

Learners from Star Schools across South Africa, together with two participating schools from Mozambique, came together to showcase their knowledge, confidence and academic excellence.

Each school was represented by a team of three learners — one learner from Grade 5, one from Grade 6 and one from Grade 7 — competing across four exciting sections:

➗ Mathematics
📚 English
🌍 General Knowledge
🇹🇷 Turkish

It was wonderful to see our learners challenge themselves, support their teammates and demonstrate their passion for learning. The competition was filled with excitement, teamwork and a fantastic spirit of healthy competition. 👏

A huge congratulations to all participating learners, teachers and schools for making Star Genius such a memorable event! 🎉

What an incredible, exciting and unforgettable evening it was at Oakridge Spur, The Grove Mall! 🎉🔥

Our amazing Star College Pretoria Grade 11 learners stepped into a different role as they became Shadow Waiters for the evening all in support of a very special cause: fundraising towards their 2026 Matric Dance for current grade 12 learners! 👔✨👗

The restaurant was buzzing with energy, laughter, excitement and school spirit as our learners served customers, interacted with families and experienced what it is like to work in a busy restaurant environment. It was more than just fundraising it was an evening of teamwork, responsibility, confidence, service and creating unforgettable memories together! 🙌

And what a turnout! ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our wonderful Star College Pretoria parents, families and friends from Grade RR all the way to Matric, as well as our valued Alumni, who came out to support our Grade 11s. Your presence, encouragement and generosity made the evening truly special.

To our Grade 11 learners you were absolutely fantastic! 🌟 You represented Star College Pretoria with enthusiasm, professionalism and incredible school spirit. We are so proud of you!

​On August 6th, Star College took to the track for an unforgettable Athletics Day. From the first starter pistol to the final relay, our Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue houses brought the fire and gave it everything they had! 🔵🟡🟢🔴

🏅🐄BRONZE MEDAL SUCCESS FOR STAR COLLEGE PRETORIA! 🏅🐄

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Grade 5 learner Luvuyo Jaca, who represented Star College Pretoria at the 2026 Imbewu Science Foundation at Elarduspark. 🎉👏

Luvuyo presented his innovative project:

🐄🌿 “Regeneration of Rangelands Through Livestock Rotational Grazing and Technological Interventions.”

🏅 BRONZE MEDAL ACHIEVEMENT! 🏅

What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that Luvuyo was the ONLY Grade 5 learner selected and the ONLY learner representing Star College Pretoria at the programme!

At such a young age, Luvuyo is already tackling important challenges around environmental sustainability, agriculture, technology and the future of our rangelands.

Your dedication, curiosity and passion for science are truly inspiring. 🌍🔬
