Good evening, Parents and Guardians 🌸

Kindly take note that we are currently experiencing a cold front, and temperatures are expected to be very cold.

We kindly request all parents and guardians to ensure that learners are dressed warmly and wear their full winter school uniform when coming to school. Please ensure that they have their winter jersey, scarf, gloves, and any other warm clothing allowed as part of the school uniform.

We also encourage parents to keep learners warm and indoors as much as possible when they are at home, especially during the colder hours.

Let us work together to keep our learners warm, healthy, and comfortable during this cold weather.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support. Stay warm! ❄️🧣🧤

Kind regards,
School Management

Hammanskraal Elite Primary School – Nelson Mandela Day 2026

"Nelson Mandela taught us that education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. At Hammanskraal Elite Primary School, we honour his legacy by nurturing young minds, building strong values, and encouraging every learner to serve with kindness, respect, and compassion.

This Mandela Day, we encourage our learners, educators, parents, and the entire school community to dedicate their 67 minutes to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Every act of kindness—no matter how small—has the power to bring hope, restore dignity, and strengthen our communities.

Together, let us continue to inspire excellence, promote humanity, and raise a generation that leads with integrity, love, and selfless service. As we celebrate Nelson Mandela's life and legacy, may we remember that the future of our nation begins with the values we instill in our children today.

Happy Nelson Mandela Day! Together, we can make every day a day of service and every child a beacon of hope for a better South Africa. 🇿🇦
