Our system is aligned to the South African curriculum and is constantly updated to ensure that learner education is conducted with the correct material. We use a unique computer-based teaching system to illustrate maths principles interactively. The learner has to use our comprehensive audio-visual online Maths Programme System, during which, they will be supervised and supported by tutors. The tutor is in fact a component of the system, and cannot be removed. By combining the computer based system with tutors we teach learners to find solutions independently. The computer interface first interactively demonstrates how to complete specific problems. After this, learners attempt examples, and if anything is unclear, the tutor guides him or her in the right direction. By employing this method of extra maths classes it becomes second nature for learners to solve unfamiliar problems independently. Instead, our tutors pinpoint problem areas and develop a plan of action based on learners’ individual needs. Our maths tuition system allows tutors to spend quality time with every learner and to assess and guide his or her progress, reinforce concepts and give learners individual attention.
