This past week, a few members of our team joined the Hamba Nawe Project on their ‘Hope in Motion’ walk in honour of Child Protection Week.
Hamba Nawe means “walk with you” in Zulu – and that’s exactly what they do. They provide compassionate paediatric palliative care, offering comfort, dignity, and support to children with life-limiting conditions and the families who love them.
It was a chance to walk for something we feel strongly about, and for our community to come together and connect with people dedicating their lives to supporting those in need.

Dear School Community,
Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to Teacher Patience!
For 7 years, Teacher Patience has been a cornerstone of our school family — serving with dedication and patience even before we opened our doors. Her commitment to nurturing, teaching, and guiding our students has helped shape the heart of Little Einsteins.
We are grateful for her years of service, her love for learning, and the positive impact she continues to have on everyone around her.
Happy Birthday, Teacher Patience! Thank you for all that you do.
Warmly,
Principal Esther

Hold hands near roads, always use the sidewalk, and look left-right-left before crossing.

Dear Parents,
The importance of Grade R - your little one’s last year of truly being little.
Academically, Grade R is an incredibly important year. It is the final season of preparation before your child joins the “big school”. This year lays the foundation for everything that follows as they step into what will become their 12-year school journey.
Few parents realise it at the time, but this is often the last year children experience childhood in its purest form. Their last year before school uniforms, strict schedules, assessments, and tests begin to shape their days. In our excitement for them to grow, we sometimes forget to pause and treasure who they are right now - little hands, big imaginations, hearts still untouched by the pressures of the world.
Our focus is not only on preparing our Gr R learners for Primary School, but on protecting and celebrating the beauty of childhood while they are still living in it. Here, they are not rushed to grow up. They are patiently guided, gently nurtured, and given the space to learn, explore, play, and create memories that will stay with them long after they leave our doors.
Childhood is fleeting. Once it passes, we cannot turn back the clock. So before rushing them into the next chapter, perhaps the greatest gift we can give them is one more year to be little.
We invite you to join us on 26 June, for our Gr R Open Day. The children will be spending the morning with all the farm animals and we ask you, as parents, to spend the time with them and remember what our community is about.
Our Registrations for 2027 open 26 June until 31 July. Give them one more year to feel safe, known, and prepared at their own pace. One more year at Little Einsteins.
