We are proud to share that Mr. Pierre and Ms. Carla have successfully completed the ASI Snake Awareness, First Aid & Handling Course on Friday 29 May 2026. Through this specialised training, they gained valuable knowledge in the identification of snakes, appropriate response to snakebite incidents, and safe handling procedures.

As part of their practical training, they were exposed to and safely handled highly venomous species including the Cape Cobra, Puff Adder, Snouted Cobra, and Rinkhals.

We are pleased to now have qualified staff on campus who are equipped to respond appropriately to any potential snake-related emergencies, further strengthening our commitment to a safe learning environment for all students.

Celebrating excellence, commitment, and hard work at Maragon Mooikloof!

These three outstanding Grade 8 students have each earned a Red Merit Badge after accumulating more than 150 merits on our school merit system. Their dedication, positive attitude, and consistent effort have truly paid off, and we could not be prouder of what they have achieved so early in their high school journey.

At Maragon Mooikloof, we believe in recognising and celebrating the positive choices, growth, character, and achievements of our students. Moments like these remind us that success is not only measured academically, but also through perseverance, discipline, leadership, and the example our students set for others every day.

Well done to these amazing students β€” your hard work and commitment do not go unnoticed!

Today our Grade 8 Grade Council students, together with our school head leaders, had the privilege of blessing the ICU nurses at Pretoria East Hospital with care packs.

It was such a heartwarming experience and a reminder of the incredible work these nurses do every single day β€” often behind the scenes and without recognition. We are so grateful for the care, sacrifice and compassion they show to others.

Sometimes the greatest heroes are the ones we don’t always see.
