brainBLITZ – Our monthly newsletter! brainBLITZ is our newsletter to inform you about the world of distance education, developments at Brainline, and other useful titbits, as well as to celebrate the achievements of our students and staff.

Dear Alumni,

This is something fascinating that those of you in JHB could look into - oftentimes after graduation there is a time where one is still trying to figure out what to do in life, and this is a great opportunity.

The JHGC is looking for committed and passionate volunteers to join our team. We are offering a 4-week course to those looking to commit on a long-term, ongoing basis in various aspects of the Centre, both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes.

Participants will learn from JHGC staff, volunteers and guest speakers. The course will include an overview of the vision, mission and activities of the Centre, as well as the history of genocide, the history of the Holocaust and the 1994 genocide in Rwanda that targeted the Tutsi.

Participation in all four sessions is compulsory:

Mondays 28th May, 4th June, 11th June, 18th June 2018
17.30-20.30
